Green Iguana #1

There are two similar lizards in Costa Rica, the Green Iguana and Ctenosaur. They can easily be distinguished, however, since the Green Iguana has head spines and the Ctenosaur does not. Green Iguanas can grow to about 6ft in length, and are herbivores. This one was at Zoo Ave.
