Garden of the Gods is a remarkable, public park open to all at no charge and maintained by the city of Colorado Springs. From above the park on Palmer Trail, sandstone structures are spotlighted by late afternoon sun peeking through clouds: [l-r] South Gateway Rock; Gray Rock; and, Sleeping Giant. In front of Gray Rock are Pulpit Rock, Cathedral Spires and Three Graces. Sentinel Spires are in front of South Gateway Rock.
