The last afternoon of my trip was my only opportunity to visit Bright Angel Point. It was sprinkling and thundering, so I sat in the truck and fixed a quick supper. Finally I decided to risk it. There was no visible lightning, but the thunder sounded nearby, so I was a bit nervous. As usual, winds were extremely gusty. The sun peeked through the clouds just enough to highlight some distant formations.
