Sublime Vista
As Robert Hitchman (author of Photograph America newsletter) observed, Point Sublime is difficult to photograph. There are few good compositions for single photos. I loved the interplay of sun and shadow as afternoon clouds dappled the red cliffs and spotlighted the foreground shrub. By sunset, the entire canyon is in dark shadow, so the usual "golden hour" is irrelevant.
