Otherworldly at Toroweap
The sunset light at Toroweap was unbelievable, as the setting sun blazed through light rain, forming a huge double rainbow over my shoulder and washing all the clouds with intense orange/pink light. Everything glowed orange, including the rocks and bushes and the Colorado River. The blowing rain made photography challenging of course, forcing me to drape everything with a rain sleeve, yank it up for the shot, dry the filter, and repeat. Soon enough it was dark, and time to return to camp.
