Rain was falling as sunset approached, so I sat in the truck and ate supper. Just before sunset, the rain seemed to let up a bit, so I walked out to the Wedding Site viewpoint. It was still sprinkling rain and the wind was blowing the drops directly onto the filter in front of my lens. I had to drape a rain sleeve over the camera and filter, lock the mirror up, yank the cover back and take the shot, then cover and dry the filter and repeat. Just at sunset, the sun peeked through a tiny gap at the horizon and bathed the rocks in lovely sunset light. In a few seconds it was all over and nothing but clouds and rain remained.
