Shamans View

Protected by the overhang of the cliff and the remote location, Shamans Panel sits well above the canyon floor. The exact location of the panel is not published to protect it from damage. As described by Kevin Fedarko in A Walk in the Park, these pictographs are believed to be more than 4,000 years old -- "roughly concurrent with the Neolithic circles at Stonehenge, the first Mayan temples in the jungles of the Yucatan, and the Great Pyramid of Giza."
