White Rim
The Colorado River flows peacefully below White Rim with Buck Canyon at upper left, as late afternoon sun warms the terraced layers of rich, red sandstone carved away over eons by the river. Beyond White Rim mesa, the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands lies just out of sight.
