Sainte Chapelle Concert

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This Bach violin performance at Sainte Chapelle was everything that I’d hoped for. The stained glass glowed in evening light, even without any sunshine (cloudy, rainy weather virtually the entire trip). At first, the reds were emphasized, then as the dusk deepened, the blues were accentuated. The violin music was beautiful, in a very intimate little concert (there were only about 25-30 attendees). We felt a little sorry for the violinist, who worked very hard on extremely complex concertos for so few people, some of whom left before the concert was over. This is a cellphone photo, taken very discreetly, midway through the concert.
