Arriving at the Jackson Hole airport late the previous evening, there was no time to scout the location for the next morning. Not knowing there was a second parking lot at Schwabacher's Landing, I stopped at the first parking area I found in the pre-dawn darkness and waded into the pond to include these sticks in the foreground. The resident beaver was not happy, slapping periodic warnings of my presence. As long as I was still, the water was dead calm, offering a perfect reflection. The muck on the bottom of the pond was quite aromatic!
