Camp Pitch

Glenn Carter finishes setting up his tent on the high ground overlooking the Coyote Gulch stream and under the huge alcove near Jacob Hamblin Arch. We had been warned that marmots were notorious for raiding backpacks here, but we saw no sign of marmots. We did, however, have an earlier marmot incident at the eastern end of Coyote Gulch. Marmots managed to neatly unzip the two top compartments of my backpack and pull out everything inside, and gnawed through Glenn's waste bag on the outside of his pack to reach food waste inside.
