Echo Alcove
Steve perches near his tent, pitched above the Coyote Gulch stream and under the huge alcove near Jacob Hamblin Arch. This alcove was a huge sound collector -- we could hear conversations from campsites upstream near Jacob Hamblin Arch, as well as engine and loudspeaker sounds from a rally-type event somewhere in the far distance.
