Steve relaxes after dinner at Sheep Mountain Table, overlooking the Stronghold District of Badlands National Park. When he arrived in late afternoon, he was surprised (given the remoteness of the spot) to find an older couple sitting here. A brief chat revealed that they have been coming here annually for 35 years, first with their children and later just themselves. They left before sunset, and Steve had the place to himself for the rest of the evening.
