This young, bison bull was fascinated for some reason by the rear fender of my 4Runner. I was on a nearby knoll, shooting a small herd approaching the spot where I had parked on NPS-5 / Highland Ridge Road in Wind Cave National Park. As I watched him, I hoped he wouldn't get TOO interested in the truck and cause some damage. After a minute or two of sniffing, he rejoined the others in their slow trek to their next graze.
